The Reference in Claude
With The Reference connector, Claude searches the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watches for sale at retailers in Europe and the US, and answers with links to thereference.uk.
What Claude can do with it
- Search the watches for sale by model, reference, country or region, case size, year and price, and show the first 6 of each search with how many there are.
- Give a watch’s details: model, reference, year, case, dial, country and its approximate price in euros, and whether that price is below the average for its reference in the same area, Europe or the US.
- Give a reference’s figures as of their date: how many are for sale and, when at least 5 have a price, the average price and the countries.
- List the models and references in the catalogue, with how many of each are for sale.
How to add it
In Claude, go to Customize › Connectors, select Discover, search for The Reference, then select Connect. No account is needed.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it for the organisation first.
To add it by its address, as a custom connector or in another AI assistant: https://thereference.uk/api/mcp.
What to ask
- Which Rolex Certified Pre-Owned Submariners are for sale in the UK under €12,000?
- What do 126610LN watches cost now, and in which countries?
- Show me Datejust 36 watches from 2018 or later for sale in Germany.
- Find a GMT-Master II for sale in the US, newest first.
What Claude doesn’t see
Claude itself sees no photos, no retailer and no exact price: the watch cards show you each watch’s photo, which Claude never receives. The retailer’s name, the exact price and the link to the watch on the retailer’s site are on thereference.uk, where you contact the retailer.
What it receives
The connector receives only the search Claude makes for you, never the rest of your conversation, and doesn’t keep your searches. No account details reach us. The details are in our Privacy Notice.
If it doesn’t work
- Check that The Reference is switched on in the chat’s connectors menu.
- On a Team or Enterprise plan, ask an Owner to add it.
- “Too many requests” means many searches at once: wait a minute, then ask again.
- A reference shows no average price or countries when fewer than 5 of its watches have a price, and no figures while they are being refreshed.
- Still stuck: write to support@thereference.uk.
